Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of components.email (“Service”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy.

The Service

components.email provides tools to design, preview, and export interactive email components (for example polls, timers, tabs, and live images) for use with your email platform (ESP/CRM). We may change features, limits, or pricing with reasonable notice where practical.

Your account

• You must provide accurate registration information and keep credentials secure.
• You are responsible for activity under your account and for users you invite to a team.
• You must be at least 16 years old and able to enter a binding contract.

Your content

You retain ownership of content you upload or create. You grant us a limited licence to host, process, and display that content only to operate the Service (including generating images, tracking opens you enable, and delivering exports). You confirm you have rights to use any third-party material you include.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful, deceptive, or abusive campaigns;
• Attempt to break security, overload systems, or access others’ data without permission;
• Reverse engineer the Service except where law allows;
• Resell or misrepresent the Service as your own product without our written consent.

You are responsible for compliance with email marketing laws (for example consent, unsubscribe, and truthful content) in every send that uses exported HTML.

Plans and payment

Paid plans (including Unlimited) are billed through Stripe on the terms shown at checkout. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or stated in your order. We may charge usage-based amounts described in the product (for example server usage). Failed payment may lead to suspension until the account is brought current.

Availability and support

We aim for reliable uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Email client behaviour, ESP rendering, and third-party APIs are outside our control. Support is provided on a reasonable-efforts basis via support@components.email.

Disclaimer

The Service is provided “as is” to the fullest extent permitted by law. We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or (b) one hundred pounds sterling (£100), except where liability cannot be limited by law.

Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or if continued operation poses risk to the platform or others. Sections that should survive (including liability limits) remain in effect after termination.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts in England have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence.

Changes

We may update these terms. We will post the new version on this page and update the date above. Material changes may be notified by email or in-product notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
